Not one to be daunted by adversity, she started a company, Sona Enterprises, creating garments especially for the girl child, a sector hugely neglected by the Indian male dominated society....

For each she garment you buy, Sona Enterprises undertakes to contribute an amount towards the welfare of the girl child in India. We have selected a prominent organization called Plan India Foundation, which is run by the female head of a very well known Indian Business Family, The Kirloskars. Their plan “Because I Am A Girl” (BIAG) is the plan that we will be contributing towards, thereby enriching the lives of many abused and neglected girl children.

We are committed to making a difference to the lives of as many underprivileged girl children as we possibly can....
