We’ve been manufacturer exporters to Europe almost before exporting to Europe from India actually began! (1972)
In fact, the renowned catalogue house Wehkamp B.V. in Holland started their imports from India with Sona Enterprises in 1973.
Another very big catalogue house from France called Trois Suisses has been with us from 1978 and did not work directly with any other supplier except us, during a season when they were in between changing agents.
We were in the honorary list of Wehkamp’s Golden Circle Of Suppliers in 1987 for which the Chairman of the company personally flew down to India to present the award to us!
Not a single bill has ever remained unpaid nor have our goods ever been refused!
In Poland, in the earlier days, when its government was involved in its imports, there was a system of 5% of the payment being held back only to be given after the goods were inspected and approved of. Most exporters never received this 5% because, as we know, it is always easy to find defects in any merchandise if you’re looking for them! Sona Enterprises got its 5% back!
